FAQ

Questions travelers ask us

Straight answers about how we work, what we can help with, and when to reach out. If your question is not here, ask us directly.

Why use a travel advisor instead of booking online myself?

Booking sites show you inventory. We help you interpret it. We compare itineraries, ships, resorts, and room or cabin categories against what actually matters to you, then explain the trade-offs so you can decide with confidence instead of guessing between look-alike options.

Does it cost more to book through Felder Travel?

Pricing depends on the cruise line, resort, or supplier and on the specific dates and itinerary you choose. Tell us what you are considering and we will walk you through the pricing for your trip before anything is booked.

Can you work within my budget?

Yes. Share the range you have in mind and we will focus on options that fit it. If your priorities and your budget are pulling in different directions, we will tell you where a small adjustment gets you the most value.

Can you help if I already booked my cruise?

Yes. You do not need to have booked your cruise with us to get help with shore excursions or destination activities. Send us your ship, sailing dates, and ports and we will help you sort through what is available.

Can you help with shore excursions?

Shore excursions are one of the easiest places to improve a cruise. We help you match activities to your ports, your pace, and your group, including options for travelers who prefer something calmer than the standard tour list.

Do you plan group trips?

Yes. We assist with group cruises and group vacations for families, friends, clubs, churches, schools, reunions, and other organizations, including the coordination that comes with booking many travelers together.

How do fundraising cruises work?

A fundraising cruise is a group sailing organized on behalf of a nonprofit, church, school, youth group, or similar organization. We help plan the sailing and handle group logistics. Specifics vary by cruise line and by group, so we review the details with your organization before anything is committed.

Can you help with all-inclusive resorts?

Yes. We help you compare all-inclusive resorts by what they are actually good at, whether that is adults-only quiet, family programming, dining variety, or location, so the resort matches the vacation you pictured.

What happens if my travel plans change?

Change and cancellation rules are set by each cruise line, resort, or supplier and vary by booking. We will point out the relevant terms for your specific trip before you book, and if something changes afterward, contact us and we will help you work through the options available to you.

How far in advance should I start planning?

Earlier usually means more choice in cabins, rooms, and excursions, especially for holidays, school breaks, and group travel. That said, we also help travelers who are looking at near-term sailings, so reach out whenever you start thinking about the trip.
